The Meisterstück Around the World collection in 80 Days is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel "Around the world in 80 days". The Legrand fountain, decorated with fine dark blue resin, tells the epic journey of Mr. Fogg and Passepartout. In the last stage from Yokohama to London passing from the United States, the duo crosses the vast American continent by train. It contemplates the elaborate details: a train elegantly engraved with the laser on the hood, a motif chain motif on the cone, which reproduces a rotating movement when Passepartout detaches the train from the locomotive to save the crew attacked by the Sioux. The design of the hood immortalizes the pressure valves and the smoke of the locomotive, while the clip sports the ace of red lacquered hearts, symbol of the union of Phileas Fogg and Princess Auda. In addition, the seeds of the cards represent the bold bet of Fogg to conclude the journey in just 80 days. The upper part of the hood beats the travel chronology awkward: 36 days from Yokohoma to London, which culminate in the total of 80 days around the world. To enhance this writing tool, a 14 k's hand -made nib made by 14/11 engraved, tribute to the date of Fogg's departure from Yokohama, and 21/12, the date of return to the London club to win the bet according to its ambitious plan. It is also decorated with the representation of a hot air balloon, I refer to the first adventure novel by Jules Verne.
